Leading up to the draft there is a lot of attention paid to the first pick of the draft. With a franchise looking to use this person as a key building block after a dismal season, picking the right guy is vital (not to mention he’ll be getting paid millions and millions of dollars).

Regardless of what happens during the NCAA championship game Monday night, you will not be able to convince me that Duke is better than Butler.

Well I don’t know about you, but all these upsets, overtime games, and come from behind thrilling victories have totally killed my bracket this year. I like to see a good game like everyone else, but gosh darn it I like winning a couple hundred dollars better.

The 16-year-old MLS (Major League Soccer) is in danger of a work stoppage with the way that contract negotiations are going. On January 31st, the existing labor contract expired. As of yet, the two sides have not been able to agree on a whole lot.

2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics are Underway

I love the Olympics. I think it is great that a competition exists that allows athletes from all over the world to test their skills against the best. Few things can say that they have evolved throughout time to stay in touch with the sporting world as it changed and evolved without giving up the original competitions that the Games are known for.
