Pinnacle Entertainment announced that its newest casino, River City, opened to the public on March 4 in the south St. Louis County community of Lemay. The casino represents an investment of $357 million, excluding operating cash, non-cash rent accruals and capitalized interest, and created approximately 600 construction-phase jobs and 1,200 permanent jobs for the region.
