North Fork Beer Fest Is Official Polling Place For Samuel Adams National Taste Test

The 4th Annual North Fork Craft Beer, BBQ & Wine Festival will take place at Martha Clara Vineyards in Jamesport on August 14, 2010. It will also be an official polling place for the 2010 Samuel Adams Beer Lover’s Choice national taste test. Bert Boyce, the Brewer for Samuel Adams, will make a special guest appearance at the summer festival to meet and greet attendees and preside over the polling station.

Budweiser, Live Nation and Haymon Events announced the return of Budweiser Superfest, which begins August 5 for an 18-city tour. The 2010 tour will feature an all-star lineup including Anthony Hamilton, Kem, Jaheim, Raheem DeVaughn, Abraham McDonald and Hal Linton, with more to be announced.

The brewers at Samuel Adams and artisanal meat purveyor Jake Dickson unveil the innovative Samuel Adams Boston Lager Cut. The partnership between the brewers and Dickson, owner of Dickson’s Farmstand Meats in New York City, marks the first time a brewer and specialty meat purveyor have teamed up to design an original cut of beef.

I just found out that Mac’s Tavern, the real-life bar from the TV Show It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia, opened this month in Philadelphia’s Old City neighborhood. Mac’s Tavern has 17 beers on tap, gastropub fare, a jukebox and occasional acoustic musical talent.
