**Fourth of July Weekend**

Floyd Fandango Beer & Wine Festival
Celebrate our country in one of America’s most historical locations, Virginia.
Floyd Fandango Beer & Wine Festival will feature Blue Mountain Brewery, Bull & Bones, Starr Hill, and many more. They’ll also be serving wine at the festival.

Seattle International BeerFest
America is over 200 years old. What better way to celebrate our young age than to sample over 200 beers at the Seattle International BeerFest in Washington. There is even a Grande Beer Garden where you can try over

“Liberate the Ales” Festival

This Independence Day, the Fort George Brewery + Public House will liberate the ales with a beer garden, live music and a barbeque. The festival takes place in the Fort George parking lot in Astoria, Oregon.

Crabtree Brewing 4th of July Pig Roast
Bring the whole family to experience a great view of the fireworks without the crowds. In celebration of the 4th of July, the brewery has arranged a pig roast for everyone to enjoy from the local farmer that takes our spent grains.

July 11 – Third Annual Ale Fest (Chicago)
The Third Annual Ale Fest will take place in Chicago, Illinois on July 11. Over 150 Craft Beers from more than 50 world-class breweries will be participating. Admission is $40
and includes 20 samples of craft beer, commemorative tasting glass, and tasting guide.

July 11, 2009- Brewed in Brooklyn Walking Tour (New York)
Consider yourself a beer expert?  Come to Brooklyn, NY on Saturday, July 11th to discover the history of beer brewing in Brooklyn.  Starting at 11:45 AM, you will embark on a walking tour of Brooklyn Brewery.  You will then go on to see the two remaining breweries on the old “Brewer’s Row”, a cathedral built by German immigrants, ABC Beverage Distributors, and then end up at Huckleberry Bar.  The tour ends at 3:30 PM and on your journey, you will of course be able to sample various Brooklyn beers.  For more information, email info@urbanoyster.com or visit www.urbanoyster.com.

July 11, 2009- Brewery Tour: Victory and Weyerbacher In One Day (Pennslyvania)
Get a two brewery tours in one day!  On July 11th, you are invited to spend the day in Pennsylvania with Rattle ‘N’ Hum.  Buses will leave from Rattle ‘N’ Hum in New York City at 10 AM  From here, all ticket holders will tour the Pennsylvanian countryside by bus, stopping at Victory Brewery and Weyerbacher Brewery.  Upon your return, everyone is invited to hang around the bar for 2 hours of open bar!  Click here for more info.

July 12 – 18 – Ohio Brew Week Festival (Ohio)
Ohio Brew Week celebrates Ohio’s diverse microbrews during the week-long festival. You can enjoy more than 166 craft beers from 29 Ohio microbreweries, all in one easy-to-get around city, relaxing Athens. July 14, 2009Victory Brewery Night (Pennsylvania)
Bar Great Harry’s of Brooklyn, NY is hosting the Victory Brewing Company of Pennsylvania on July 14th from 6:00 to 10:00 PM. July 14, 2009Global Kitchen: Beer (New York)
On July 14th at 6:30 PM, the brewmaster of Brooklyn Brewery, Garrett Oliver, is sharing his expertise with the public.  At the American Museum of Natural History, he will explain the creation of tastes, the history of taste trends, and the history and technology of brewing.  Come learn all about the art of brewing beer while sipping at some samples.  Check out www.amnh.org/programs for further details.

July 18, 2009 – Dogfish Head Tasting (New York)
On July 18th from 2:00 – 5:00 PM, New York’s Flair Beverage will have a minimum of five beers from Dogfish Head Brewery.  Not only will you get to sample some great beers, but each person will receive a complimentary Dogfish Head glass!

July 18 – Real Beer Festival (New York)

July 19 – Stone Sour Fest (California)
Don’t miss Stone Brewing Company’s Stone Sour Fest July 19 from 11 AM  – 11 PM in Escondido, California. Join them for hours of sours as they celebrate this great, and often unexplored, tradition of tart and tasty ales. July 19, 2009 – NYC Beer Festival (New York)

July 21, 2009Local Grill Off – Good Beer Seal (New York)

July 21, 2009NY State Beer & Cheese Pairing Sail (New York)

July 22, 2009Christmas in July (New York)
New York City’s Burp Castle is hosting Christmas in July on July 22 starting at 6 PM.  The two beers available will appropriately be Troeg’s Mad Elf and St. Bernardus Christmas Ale.  There will also be Belgian fries served for free.  Christmas always does call for a celebration, no matter what month! Email garyg0929@aol.com for details.

July 24 – 25 – Michigan Brewers Guild Summer Beer Festival (Michigan)
Head to Michigan to experience Michigan Brewers Guild Summer Beer Festival from 5:00 PM – 9 PM on July 24 and 1 PM  – 6 PM on July 25. They are hosting a ticket kick off party, which is open to the public. Friday admission is $25 in advance, $30 at the gate. Saturday admission is $30 in advance, $35 at the gate. Admission includes access to all beer and entertainment and 12 drink tokens. Additional tokens will be available for purchase inside the Festival for 50 cents each.
