Chicken Italiano

Warm weather is a perfect excuse to have barbecues. I’m not particularly fond of chicken, but when I marinated it with beer one day, I thought to myself, how could I resist?  Juicy chicken roasting on the grill with some veggies – Mmm…I can smell it already!

-3 pounds skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
-1/8 – 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
-1/2 teaspoon salt
-1/2 teaspoon pepper
-1/2 teaspoon sugar
-1 – 2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
-12 oz. bottle of ale

1. Place chicken in a glass bowl and poke holes. This will help retain the flavor from the dressing inside. Pour the dressing over chicken and turn to coat. Cover the dish and refrigerate the chicken for at least 1 hour.

2. Preheat the grill and grease it lightly.

3. Remove chicken from marinade and grill for about 20-30 minutes, turning occasionally.

Substitution: If you only have the chicken breast and beer, substitute the other ingredients with 1 cup Italian-style salad dressing.
