piano-bar-pic2The Piano Bar is a unique place in the center of Hollywood. You’ll find a great late night, afterhours atmosphere here. Its name comes from the large grand piano situated in the back where they usually have great music constantly churning out. You’ll hear classic covers and original songs from local artists. They have a large bar with a wide variety of drinks for average prices. Another great thing about Piano Bar is the small outdoor courtyard. It’s a very private area with comfortable seating that provides a great place for conversation and lends itself well to meeting new and interesting people. There’s usually a large crowd on the weekends and it’s a great place to really take in the Hollywood scene. To really see what this place is all about, I suggest going here late after seeing a nearby show and reveling in the afterhours atmosphere. It begins to feel like a private party that you snuck your way into, with everyone singing along to the piano player and enjoying the waning hours of the night.

Pros: Unique setting, great piano music.

Cons: Attracts large crowds, and limited seating.

Rating: 3 out of 5
